Give your business one current copy
Scattered knowledge makes every new hire and AI conversation start over. This walkthrough creates a business-owned GitHub organization for Capstone Brands and shows how version-controlled files can provide a shared source for people and AI tools.
What belongs in your business knowledge base
Start with standard operating procedures, decisions and their context, and reference data such as price lists or vendor sheets. Keep passwords, customer personal information, and bank statements out. The business should own the organization, with access assigned to the people who need it.
Set up the organization and a consistent SOP format
The on-camera setup covers signing in, choosing the free plan, naming the organization, and adding members. The repository walkthrough then shows numbered business folders and SOPs with an ID, title, and location. Interview yourself or the expert to capture how a job actually works.
Ask a question and check the source
The lesson asks Codex about Capstone Brands and checks the file cited in its answer. Start small in your own repository: add one real SOP, decision, or reference file, pull the latest copy, and ask one question. Check the cited source before relying on the answer.
